Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Anne W. Burrell hosts on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network star with her trademark long, blonde hair with a pumped up personality reveals easy methods to master and removes the fear of eating at restaurants in her series Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell has worked in New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine practices and the landscape. Also, she was a contestant on Iron Chef America on Food Network. As a youngster, growing up in New York's Upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. Her passion was for food and restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America following the completion of a bachelor's degree in English and Communication from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a wonderful experience for me. The Culinary Institute of America was a great place to study. After graduating from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners Chef Burrell spent an entire year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. The time she spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture and this has left an impact on her own culinary perspective. Burrell has been a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to brighten the lives of kids facing difficulties. Burrell is also a Juvenile Research Foundation celebrity ambassador where she advocates for education about the condition known as juvenile diabetes. Burrell is often a guest to speak at conferences and tours across the nation as part of her mentorship task. Anne in all her culinary journey has stated that it's a pleasure to be in a position to be able to share this love of the food industry with people.
