Abbie Cornish Biography

Abbie Cornish is an Australian performer and rapper. She began modeling at 13 and her first acting job was when she was 15 years old. She went on to star in many TV and film shows. Cornish is best known for her roles as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth The Golden Age'. She also played the titular heroin addict in "Candy," Lindy in the sci-fi thriller "Limitless" and Fanny Brawne in the biopic "Bright Star". Her most well-known roles include roles in television's 'Outriders’ and 'Marking Times. Cornish is as a singer and rapper, has been performing under the stage name MC Dusk since 2000. Born in New South Wales, and was raised by her three siblings and one brother. Her parents divorced shortly after she turned 16. Abbie is an incredibly strong woman who was able to move on from the heartbreaking divorce of her parents. Abbie is an Australian beauty is an excellent guitarist and pianist, but she is a performer more than everything else. Cornish is a vegan strict, has a strong belief in the rights of animals. She also donates money to animal rights groups periodically. Abbie Cornish was born 7 August 1982 in Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia. She is the second of five children to Barry Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actress. In her romantic life, she once dated Ryan Phillippe from 2006 to the year 2010.
