Aaron Jeffery

Aaron C. Jeffery is an award-winning Logie Award-winning New Zealand and Australian actor. His characters include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played Matt "FletchFletcher" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and moved to Australia when he was 17 years old. He pursued acting studies at NIDA. He earned his NIDA degree in 1993. After that was his first television career working on the children's series Ship to Shore. Jeffery is most well-known for his character Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters that was cancelled in 2008. The actor was also a part of the third season of New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was also portrayed as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. On June 22 it was the day he finished filming. A few days later it was revealed that Jeffery was joining the crew of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. It was discovered in October that Jeffery was assigned as an Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also his character. In April 2021 it was announced that Jeffery was cast in the upcoming Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her, which is adapted from the Karin Slaughter novel of the same title. Jeffery's role on McLeod’s Daughters won him the Silver Logie in 2007 and in 2004.
